Perspective / 3 minute read
Built to belong to its landscape.
On homes that take their cues from the places around them.

Some buildings seem to arrive with their own agenda. Others appear to have been listening. Their height follows the horizon, their materials echo the ground, and their shelter makes sense of the weather.
In the desert, shade can feel like the most generous design gesture. A roof that reaches a little further creates another place to live. A window positioned for a mountain can turn an ordinary room into something memorable.
Good architecture does not always demand your attention. Sometimes it simply makes a place more comfortable to be in. That sense of belonging is one of the things we look for.
FOR A LIFE WELL LIVED.
