A sense of place / 2 minute read
What water brings
to a home.
An ever-changing view. A wonderfully constant presence.

Water gives a home a second kind of light. It catches the sky, carries movement into still rooms and makes the same window feel different throughout the day. A lakeside setting can be quiet without ever feeling static.
The relationship between a home and its setting is often found in the small transitions. A step from kitchen to terrace. A path through the garden. A window low enough to frame the shoreline from a favorite chair.
As you explore, think about how you would use the setting in every season. A beautiful view is one part of a home. The places where you can comfortably spend time are what make that view part of your life.
