The beauty of the
evening hour.
What a home feels like when the day begins to soften.

A room changes when the sun moves. Hard edges soften, familiar corners become places to pause, and a home reveals a different side of itself. The evening hour is often when we notice the details that photographs taken at noon can miss.
When visiting a home, imagine the end of an ordinary day. Where would you leave your keys? Which window would draw you toward it? Is there a place to sit without feeling that you should be somewhere else? These small questions can be surprisingly revealing.
Beautiful architecture makes room for ordinary life. A sheltered terrace, a well-placed lamp or a window facing the trees may matter more to your day than a grand entrance. Look for the spaces that make it easy to arrive, settle and stay.
